Semiconductor Electronic Engineering

This course equips graduates with world-class knowledge and practical skills in the areas of programming languages, semiconductors and electronic circuits, automation of production technology, sensors and microprocessors.

Graduates are expected to be involved in data care solutions, industrial system development, LCD repair technology as well as forensics data recovery. Additionally, graduates will be eligible to take up certifications offered by Human Resources Department Services of Korea (HRD Korea), which are widely recognized by multiple countries in this industry.

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course it is expected that graduates will be able to:

  • Acquire professional skills and knowledge required in the ever-changing technology industry
  • Gain foundational skills and knowledge to diagnose and recover damaged drives in a structured method
  • Devise logical solutions to technical problems
  • Innovate in the semi-conductor development that greatly supports the creation of robots, solar cells, smartphones and advance devices

Minimum Entry Requirements

Students need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course:

  • Completed Secondary study (SPM or equivalent). Students must have passed and obtained certification of completion from their respective secondary study
  • Must have completed the 6-month Korean Language Course with Chungbuk Health & Science University
