Automotive Engineering

This course equips graduates with knowledge and practical skills in the areas of automotive engines, transmission, suspension, braking systems, electrical and electronics, comfort and safety, automotive workshop technology and management.

Graduates are expected to be involved in automotive maintenance and manufacturing sectors, which include designing, testing and manufacturing of a wide range of vehicles. 

Additionally, graduates will be eligible to take up certifications offered by Human Resource Department Service of Korea (HRD Korea), which are widely recognized by multiple countries in this industry.

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course it is expected that graduates will be able to:

  • Acquire professional skills and knowledge required in the 21st century for the automotive industry that comprise of various aspects including repair, maintenance, inspection, tuning, testing and vehicle assessment
  • Innovate and manage energy and environment conversation in correspondence to advancement of technology in automotive industry
  • Gain foundational skills and knowledge to operate and maintain equipment and machineries within all scales of automotive manufacturing companies

Minimum Entry Requirements

Students need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course:

  • Completed Secondary study (SPM or equivalent). Students must have passed and obtained certification of completion from their respective secondary study
  • Must have completed the 6-month Korean Language Course with Chungbuk Health & Science University
